A TON of Thanks

Richard’s visit to Loudoun County started as a run around the community but rapidly turned into a cleanup day. Everyone was so busy helping that nobody even noticed that the cleanup day evolved into a whole neighborhood clean-up as well as part of the county, and by the time it was done, Richard and all volunteers had cleaned over a ton of waste.

After several days of hard but necessary work, Richard said:

If you have never gone out and cleaned up a street or your neighborhood, give it a try, and you will find that things are not what they seem, and a spiritual element is present and hard to deny.

Afterward, Richard made a special thanks to everyone who helped to make this journey a success. The team gathered at the community’s club house for some tea and sweets as well as taking a group picture on Oatland Mills Rd. A local journalist wrote about the kind act and the group picture was posted in the newspaper as well.

The work of the volunteers has been captured in the photos published below. You will see they were able to give up their mornings and or afternoons to make this world a better place. With no expectations in return, many volunteers have worked to do something good for our community, county, and beyond.
